Jen Lowry lives outside of Raleigh, North Carolina and is a proud native of Robeson County. She is the author of a YA contemporary fiction novel, Sweet Potato Jones (2020 with Swoon Romance) and a list of other bestselling novels. Check out her fifteen published books and counting. You’ll find her enjoying every second of life spent with her family (preferably in pajamas). If you ask her what she’s reading it’s probably more than one book. Learn more about Jen at and follow her online @jenlowrywrites.

Jen’s featured book is entitled Off Beat

Mary Oxendine is on top of the charts and should be on top of the world. For the past five years, she’s gained millions of fans, adoring her every move as she rocks the stage as Mary Bella. They don’t know she’s hurting. No one knows just how much she’s losing parts of herself. She’s angry. She’s bitter. Will she compromise it all for fame or will she have the courage to face the true music within?

Blessings for NaNoWriMo

Blessings my blogging friends!
Today I want to talk about how richly blessed I have been, and how these blessings have enhanced my writing for NaNoWriMo.
First of all, God has brought me in contact with a person whom I can pray and worship Him with. My last relationship that I thought was of God, turned out not to be the one he chose for me. However, I pray for the people in my life who haven’t turned to God in their time of need, because I feel in my heart, that given time, that He will surely bring people into their lives that will bring them closer to Him.
Second of all, After my worship and praise this morning, I checked my email and discovered that I received my first royalty payment from an anthology I am featured in. Now if that’s not a gift from God, I don’t know what is.! With that being said, I have been inspired to write, in more ways than I can ever explain.
My advice to you, Give God the glory and praise for the mishaps and the blessings in your life, and He will richly bless you, and when you write, the Holy Spirit will inspire you in more ways than you can imagine. Happy writing, and good luck during NaNoWriMo.
