This sounds like an excellent read. Go check it out!
If you want to sink your teeth into a book that you can’t get out of your head after the last page has been turned, then I want to recommend a book entitled Where the Wind Blows, by Caroline Fyffe.
This book is a historical western romance, but there’s not much mention of cowboys drinking in saloons like most westerns. If you love Christian fiction as I do, this book is a good read too, because many of the characters believe in God, yet this book has just enough conflict in it to make you want to keep reading. By the way, I forgot to mention that the characters will drive you crazy sometimes, until you reach the end.
Jessie Strong is a young widow who wants to adopt one of the children she took care of when she was sent to the orphanage as a child. Chase Logan, friend of Jessie’s husband Nathan rides out to her cabin to tell her of her husban’s untimely death. However, when the owner of the orphanage brings little Sarah and a teenaged boy to Jessie’s cabin, Chase has to pretend to beJessie’s husband, so she can adopt the children. Things get a bit shady, and Chase ends up actually marrying Jessie,to give Sarah a stable home.
I don’t want to tell you all the juicy stuff, because I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I can tell you that I’d rate this one 5 stars, because I was hooked from the start. I received this book from the National Library Service for the blind and physically handicapped’s talking book program, through my network library in Atlanta Georgia. I will say that the actor who performed this book as a commercial audio book was outstanding! Let me know how you like this book.
