Tish Bouvier (pronounce boo-vee-ei), IS an emerging author and haiku poet. She lives in Houston, Texas, married 27 years, with three daughters. After retiring as a hospice nurse, Tish Bouvier participated in NaNoWriMo and discovered a passion for creative writing. She’s writing her first cozy mystery series, and a 30 Day Haiku Challenge for Kids which can be found on her YouTube channel .

Her book is entitled, Echoes and Whispers: Haiku for NaNo Writers

Ignite your muse and STOP staring at a blank screen. Echoes and Whispers haiku for NANO writers paints a brief, though vivid picture written in the simplicity of a 5-7-5 format. Each haiku serves as a writing prompt to help writers and poets taking part in NaNoWriMo filter out the noise and listen to the whispers of forgotten memories, abandoned secrets, and a passing thought.

A progress update and a post about social media marketing

Hey Y’all, today I have a post to share with you, but first, I need to give y’all a progress update on my writing.

This month, for Camp NaNoWriMo, I have set my goal to fifty hours. Although I posted my project as Winter Haven Rescue, I find myself working on Journey to the Mountaintop. I have stitched up some plot holes, connected some disjointed scenes and split one chapter into three in a couple of places. I may have more chapters, but they are shorter and they keep the book moving at a faster pace than when I started writing it.

Yesterday I put in four and a half hours, which brings my hourly total to 9.5, but you can’t put in half hour increments on the goal updater, so I had to round up to ten. I’m going to put in a couple more hours today and see how many plot holes I can stitch up or scenes I can dump and rewrite, so pray for me and wish me luck

Now, without further ado, here’s a post about social media marketing. Please give this post a like and a share or two, and be sure to leave a comment on Ari’s blog.

Blessings and happy writing.

How to Use Social Media for Your Marketing

A brief word to my readers

Hello to all my followers and readers. I do want to apologize to you all for not submitting a blog post last week, but I was sick, thus didn’t get much writing done at all.

I do have some news for you today. I am getting geared up for Camp NaNoWriMo which starts in less than a month. Although I will continue to write A Journey of Faith between now and then, I plan on working on it during camp NaNoWriMo and getting some support and inspiration from my virtual cabin mates. Please vote for A Journey of Faith while I finish the rewrites  I need to do. If you need the link again, please don’t hesitate to let me know, but I have placed it  in several posts, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Well, that’s all for today folks, but I hope you’ll join me next time when I update you on my camp NaNoWriMo experience, host another character interview, or review a fabulous book, or what else I can come up with. So long and God Bless.
