The drop in temperature gives me a reason
To write a glorious rhyme
As gods natural music
Keeps perfect time.
And to Him, may my words be pleasing.

Lovely poem. I love the sounds of Autumn too. I composed an onomatopoeic poem about it a few years ago, entitled “Autumn Fall.” I just love that scruncy, crunchy, squish tramping through the woods. I miss it since I’ve become disabled.
